All Things Texas Tech: First Home Game Stephen F. Austin vs/Texas Tech Red Raiders...Sat Sept 7, 2013 @ 6PM!
Dear family, Texas Tech football is once again almost upon us, and I have received ticket data for home games. If any of you are genuinely interested let me know. If not no need to comment or to elaborate. These events are fun and such so for those of us who make it a point to attend, we move forward as usual with just positive thoughts and good karma. Those who usually can attend, we will proceed as usual with plans for a fun-filled time.
I plan all of this b/c it is and has always been about spending time with loved ones and having a good time, and trying to sweep negative forces under the rug if only for one day. Forget ones troubles for a while and mostly to appreciate what we all still have - each other.
As for the costs, I always try to give every one plenty of time to save up, and I also try to get the best ticket deals b/c I am extremely aware that money does not grow on trees. But I also take heed that we cannot take it ($$$) with us so best to make fond memories every time we can. Never look a gift horse or a golden opportunity in the face, per se.
Many new and exciting changes for our Red Raiders this year. Aside from "The Jones" project progressing beautifully, our new HC, Coach Kingsbury, has finally come home to coach where he belongs (once again donning scarlet and black and our "doube T")... "Air Raid" at its best. Tix of course are going to be more costly because of the interest the changes have sparked.
I can probably get tix for the SFA v/Tech game (for some of us this will be our traditional first home game). The SFA tix start $15 - $20 plus tax (sections 109/110 --- not a bad location) ...date/time: Sat Sept 7, 2013 @ 6PM!
