Though she doesn't want her b-day acknowledged,

She has been the one constant in my life

 - through good times and bad times -

who has helped sustain me and helped me to keep appreciating life. 

When we lost Mama, Sara was always there no matter what

- even more so now! 
Even before Mama passed away, Sara was there for her, too!

For all of that, for her - I remain eternally grateful. 

For all the other wonderful things she does for me,

I remain in awe and so happy!

I am lucky to have her in my life.

GRATEFUL FOR FAMILY: A SPECIAL THANKS TO MY SISTERS!

Magnanimous amounts of gratitude to my sisters

(Aurora, Betty, Josie and Eva) and

to my life-partner Sara 

for always being there for me. 

Mainly yesterday (8-7-13) as I underwent

surgery at MMH.

My beautiful sisters bought me roses and stayed

at the hospital until my surgery of 5 long, arduous hours
came to a successful end and remained with me for a few hours more.

 

Sara and Josie endured the two-day adventure

with me - start to end - and served as my advocates!

Sara stayed with me overnight and took great care

of me and watched the hospital personnel like a hawk!
Thanks - again to them all and to those whom could
not be there but kept in touch.

Many thanks to my nephew Rudy who visited me prior
to my doctor releasing me; he helped transport the roses
and other things to the vehicle.

Our dear friend Margie deserves a shout out as well
for being there on and off for those couple of days!
