TEXAS TRASH OFF 2013: THANKS TO THOSE WHOM PARTICIPATED! ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL EVENT FOR OUR FAMILY GROUP!

ONCE AGAIN A SINCERE "THANK YOU" TO 

THOSE OF YOU WHOM HELPED WITH THIS 2013 EVENT.

Twelve of us showed up...

A special cheer and shout out to:

(sis) Aurora, (niece) Michelle, (sis) Josie, (bro-in-law) Jabier, (niece) Alex, 

(sis and co-Rep of group) Eva, (niece) Erica, (niece) Felicia,

(bro-in-law) Philip Sr, (nephew) Rudy, (partner) Sara and (me) Dora!

Although we were unable to meet with the local 

"Keep Big Spring Beautiful" group for lunch and other fun activities,

I am sure Ruth (Big Spring/Howard County TX-DOT coordinator)

understands and will still be glad to hear of our Texas Trash Off success

All together our group collected about 15-17 bags of trash and found 

other interesting things along the way.

Rudy found a nice craft project, too; hope to see it when he finishes it.

BTW:

Ruth thinks the world of our group and has relayed our excellent

progress through-out the years to the new regional TX-DOT director 

in Abilene (Darah Waldrip) whom I had also been in contact with recently.

***" It takes a village!"***

An adage which our family has proven several times not just through

involvement with this group but with many of life's events.

Let us all continue the legacy (TTL).
