Remember that the adverb sic, means "intentionally so written".

 [SIC] denotes an intentional spelling of a word that might otheriwse be spelled differenty!

I.E. "Perks [sic] and Recreation" in lieu of "Parks and Recreation"

(so this is my English/writer's lesson to all today). LOL!
