HAPPY HOLIDAYS: EASTER 2014: AVA's EASTER EGG HUNT!

FAMILY EVENTS: ALEX's BIRTHDAY WEEKEND TRIP 2014!

Started out having another delish breakfast (thx again, Drury)!
Josie and Sara took pix from atop the Drury Inn (at the pool/spa decks)...
I love San Antonio so much--I miss it terribly, but as with many things,
moving back is not an option--clearly it would not be the same...c'est la vie!

After eating a "breakfast of champions" (lol), we began a day of
more shopping at the Rivercenter Mall
before heading back home.

Lunch at Altdorf Biergarten in Fred-burg!

Alex, Jabier and Josie in front of candy store in Fred-burg!

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY STORY: EASTER SUNDAY: BIG SPRING HERALD!

Thanks to my sis (Aurora) for mailing me the copies.
Thanks to the Guzman-Puentes family for buying copies
for everyone who still needed one.
Since I am not willing to pay for the online subscription, which
would guarantee me access to the story, I am resorting to the old
scan and pan method.  LOL!
Besides, even if I did subscribe to the Herald and tried to repost,
the website would probably not allow non-paying readers to open and see it.
Anyway, enjoy my story about our family's Adopt-A-Highway
group which posted via the Big Spring Herald on Easter 2014.

FAMILY EVENTS: ALEX's BIRTHDAY WEEKEND TRIP 2014!

Had a great breakfast (Thx, Drury) then we started the day at
then we headed to

After touring Ripleys, we headed south on I-35 towards San Marcos, TX
We had lunch at the food court, then did some serious shopping at the outlet malls (ouch--$$$)!
(Formerly Prime Outlets)

I love this place--simply dubbed The Quarry!
It was fairly new before I left SA.
It has more shops now; I have always been partial to this movie-plex, too.

Dinner Saturday nite at Sam's Burger Joint
330 E. Grayson (between Broadway and 281/37 Hwy)
Voted Best Live Music Venue!
San Antonio's local eatery and "best-kept secret".
Some of the best burgers in town!
