ALL ABOUT AVA: GIRLS DAY OUT! IT WAS SHORT, BUT SWEET!

It was a nice day.

Eva, Felicia, Erica, and Ava drove in from Big Spring to do some shopping.

Josie and I were lucky to get in on some of the fun that day.

Happy to have enjoyed lunch and a shopping trip at our fave Targeé.

While at Target, Josie and I took Ava and we tore away from the others.

 Yep, we selfishly, but not shamefully, had Ava all to ourselves.

Aside from taking Ava for a Nascar-like drive in the shopping cart 

through-out the store (j.k. - or not), we took Ava to scope out

the latest costume trends at the Halloween section.

All in fun as our lil' Ava is not keen on seeing scary masks and such, 

and she will let you know right away: "NO, MONSTER!"

  Thanks to my sis, Josie, for sharing the pix of Ava she took 

during our romp at Target trying on different Halloween costumes.

KIDS KORNER: PUENTES NEWS! YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL!

I requested an updated pic of Erica, Nick and Ava

(for their 5th wedding anniversary post) while we were at the Puentes' home on Saturday.
Thanks again to Nick and Erica (and Ava) for hosting an awesome BBQ meal despite the
fact that the Adopt-A-Highway "clean-up" (Philip's birthday event) had to be postponed.
The food was great and the ambiance was equally great.
